Park House Museum Hours: July-Aug, 11am-4pm; rest of the year Mon-Fri 11am-4pm.
Bring back a touch of the past by visiting the oldest house in the area. Park House was originally built near Detroit in the 1790's, but when the city was turned over to the Americans with the signing of the Jay Treaty, a loyalist called Alexander MacKintosh moved the house back to Amherstburg in 1796. It has been restored to the 1850 era to depict the lifestyle of the Park family and their mercantile business.
